1. How This Policy Works

HMX Global Travels books travel services on your behalf through hotels, cab operators, tour operators, and other independent suppliers. When you cancel a booking, the refund you receive depends on:

  1. The cancellation policy of the specific supplier
  2. How many days before your travel date you cancel
  3. Whether the booking was made at a non-refundable rate

HMX Global's own service fees, coordination charges, and convenience fees are non-refundable in all circumstances.

2. How to Cancel

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via:

Verbal cancellation requests are not accepted. The cancellation date is the date on which HMX Global receives your written request.

3. Cancellation Charges

Actual charges depend on the specific supplier's policy for your booking.

4. What Is Non-Refundable

HMX Global's service fees are non-refundable regardless of the reason. The following booking types are typically fully non-refundable:

  • Promotional or discounted bookings
  • Last-minute bookings (within 48 hours of service date)
  • Festival or peak season bookings
  • Bookings explicitly marked as non-refundable at confirmation

5. If the Supplier Cancels

If a hotel, cab, airline, or other supplier cancels or significantly changes a confirmed booking:

  • HMX Global will inform you as soon as possible.
  • We will try to arrange an alternative of equivalent or better quality at no extra cost.
  • If no suitable alternative is found and you decline, we will facilitate a refund of whatever amounts we recover from the supplier.

6. No-Show Policy

If you do not arrive without cancelling beforehand, your booking is treated as a no-show and is generally non-refundable.

7. Refund Process

  • Timeline: Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 30 business days from supplier approval.
  • Method: Refunds are credited to the original payment method.
  • Partial refunds: If only part of a booking is cancelled, the refund applies proportionally.
