Customer Responsibilities — At a Glance

  • Provide correct information when booking.
  • Carry valid government-issued photo ID for all travelers.
  • Arrange your own visa and travel documents.
  • Arrive on time at pick-up, hotel, and departure points.
  • Check local travel advisories and weather before you travel.
  • Follow local laws and conduct yourself respectfully.

1. Provide Accurate Booking Information

You are solely responsible for giving us accurate, complete, and truthful information at the time of booking, including:

  • Correct legal names of all travelers as on their government-issued ID
  • Accurate travel dates and destinations
  • Correct contact details (phone, email)
  • Accurate number of travelers including children and their correct ages

2. Carry Valid Identity Documents

Every adult traveler must carry valid government-issued photo identification throughout the trip:

  • Aadhar Card
  • Passport
  • Voter ID
  • Driving Licence

For travel to restricted areas or across state borders, additional permits may be required.

3. Visa and Travel Documentation

You are responsible for obtaining all visas, transit permits, health documentation, and any other travel documents needed for your destination. HMX Global does not process visas and provides no guarantee of visa approval.

4. Check Local Travel Advisories

Before you travel, please check:

  • Government of India travel advisories for your destination
  • Local weather forecasts and seasonal road conditions
  • Permit requirements for restricted areas (e.g., Rohtang Pass, Spiti, Zanskar)
  • Destination-specific health or vaccination requirements

5. Health and Medical Fitness

You are responsible for ensuring that all travelers are medically fit to undertake all aspects of your planned travel. This is especially important for:

  • High-altitude destinations (Ladakh, Spiti, Rohtang Pass)
  • Adventure activities (trekking, skiing, river rafting, paragliding)
  • Physically demanding itineraries

6. Arrive on Time

Please arrive at pick-up points, hotel check-ins, and departure locations at the time stated in your itinerary. Any cost incurred due to your late arrival is your responsibility.

7. Conduct and Behaviour

You must conduct yourself in a respectful, lawful, and considerate manner. Behaviour that is offensive, violent, intoxicated, or in violation of local laws may result in removal from the hotel, vehicle, or tour without a refund. You are responsible for any damage you cause to hotel property, vehicles, or equipment.
